WCOL’s youngest artist to perform at this year’s Country Jam is RaeLynn. Born and raised in Texas, RaeLynn got her break competing in the second season of NBC’s The Voice. Although not the winner of the competition, RaeLynn’s performance garnered the attention of both Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. After choosing to work with Blake Shelton, RaeLynn continued her success with the show, until her highly debated elimination in the quarterfinals. Since her appearance on the show, RaeLynn has released an EP and several singles like the popular song “God Made Girls” while touring with Shelton’s wife Miranda Lambert. She is currently working on the release of her debut album. RaeLynn is a great example of diversity, in both gender and age, of the artists performing at this year’s Country Jam!
The two- day festival will be hosted at the historic Legend Valley Concert Venue and Campground located on Buckeye Lake, just thirty minutes east of downtown Columbus. 2015 will mark the 3rd year that WCOL Country Jam has taken place at the venue. The festival is packed with a multitude of country music acts from classic country, southern rock country, and modern country artists.

In 2013, WCOL and Bluestone Promotions formed a partnership to bring the show to the Legend Valley Music Center, a historic venue located near Buckeye Lake in Thornville, Ohio. Previous years included performers Hank Williams Jr., Dierks Bentley, Gary Allan and Tim McGraw. The venue boasts acres of campgrounds and a large field with great views of the stage. Legend Valley Music Center has functioned as a music venue since the early 1970’s, but has undergone some name changes since that time. LVMC has hosted a multitude of artists including: The Charlie Daniels Band, The Allman Brothers, Grateful Dead, Alabama, Journey, and Jimmy Buffett.
WCOL‘s next up and coming country music star is Georgia born Thomas Rhett! His debut album It Goes Like This released at the end of 2013, sold over 200,000 copies and spawned several successful singles such as “Get Me Some of That”, “Something to Do With My Hands”, and the chart topping hit “It Goes Like This”. Following the release and success of his album, Rhett embarked upon a massive tour across the country, stopping in Columbus at The Bluestone in 2013. Rhett was recently nominated for ACM‘s New Artist of the Year, with the awards ceremony taking place in April and has made headlines with his country covers of popular Bruno Mars singles. Rhett returns to Ohio this summer for WCOL‘s Country Jam at Legend Valley to once again rock Ohio!

Agoura Hills, CA (November 7, 2016) – Easyriders Events proudly announces the Easyriders 2017 Bike Show Tour’s last stop at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, located at 400 North High St. in Columbus, OH on February 11 & 12, 2017.
This two day show will be held on Saturday from 10:00a.m. until 7:00p.m. and Sunday from 10:00a.m. until 5:00p.m. All Tickets for the show will be sold at the door. All ages are welcome to this family-friendly event showcasing the newest innovations in custom motorcycle builds mixed with antique, old school and specialty builds.
The tour is the most anticipated custom motorcycle show circuit of its kind in the country, uniquely offering local “backyard” builders a forum to compete and show their works of motorized art side-by-side with some of the biggest names in the custom motorcycle world. Basic bike show competition entry is free of charge and all bikes are voted on by the attending public as well as judged by Editors of Easyriders, V-Twin and Road Iron magazines, who will be scouting for bikes and builders to feature.
Meet Jason Wilson, founder of the Douche LaRouche Chopper Club and Sacred Steel, featured on the Discovery Channel’s new TV series Sacred Steel Bikes. Jason’s unique choppers are a tribute to the old school custom bikes of the 1960’s and ’70’s. Come check out these ground-up custom creations that will be on display at the shows.

NTC Drift Trikes, one of the most popular features at the Easyriders Rodeo this past summer, will be onsite showing off one-of-a-kind trikes and demonstrating their drifting capabilities every hour.
As featured on America’s Got Talent, Country Music Television’s, Foxworthy’s Big Night Out and a laundry list of popular country music videos, the Purrfect Angelz will be showing off their choreographed dance performances live on the main stage and offering attendees photo opportunities. The founder of the Purrfect Angelz, Lisa Ligon, will be celebrating 15 years with Easyriders Events and has been named the master of ceremonies for the 2017 tour.

High Valley keeps in line with traditional country sounds while they explore Americana, rock and pop influences in their major-label debut album, Dear Life. Tracks of inspiration, desires of the heart and their journey as musicians make up the record. The 11-track project experiments with a variety of beats and guitar picking that keep the music interesting while they share their pitch-perfect harmonies.
Production elements blend genres to create foot-tapping beats and melodies that replay through your head all day. High Valley make their own sound that will stand out on country radio while staying in touch with country roots that serve as each tune’s platform.
The Canadian country group’s lead single, “Make You Mine,” has the most interesting sound on the album. It sticks out among the rest and will draw intrigued listeners into explore what other stories the duo has to offer.
“Dear Life,” the title track, shares feelings about making choices while growing up. Its message will resonate with much of their audience and may be representative where they are in their own life. It follows similar patterns as surrounding tracks, including heavy drums that bring the song to life.
“The Only” and “She’s With Me” have comparable themes of adoration. Their obvious pop influences match the song’s tone with complimenting faster-tempo beats. The featured repetitive hooks just about guarantee them stuck in your head all day as you fight the urge to dance along.
Americana influence is heaviest in the No. 8 title, “I Be U Be.” The back-and forth nature of the song has hints of tribal elements as strong imagery describes an ideal love scenario. Just as many other included tracks, “I Be U Be” stays clear of electric guitar solos and focuses on percussion and diction, a factor that might become a signature in their career.
The closing track, “Young Forever” has a similar vibe that compares to Billy Currington’s “We Are Tonight.” The embrace-the-moment trend adds a brightness to the album that contributes to its already high-spirited qualities.
Emotional tracks intertwined with flirty fun songs lead to this diverse album. Dear Life is an exciting piece of art that serves as a solid platform for the bright career they have ahead of them.

3LAU approaches electronic dance music from many unconventional angles. The artist, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and entrepreneur born Justin Blau usually begins his compositions on the piano.
“I like to create the framework for a song traditionally and then add the electronic elements later.” It’s a style he’s been cultivating since childhood. Commencing piano lessons at the age of three, he’ll tell you that he couldn’t go to sleep without classical music as a kid. His tastes began to veer towards the likes of Radiohead and Sigur Ros in high school as he taught himself guitar, bass, and drums. During his sophomore year of college, he took a trip to Sweden and fell in love with electronic dance music. Upon returning home, 3LAU began creating.
Taking a leave from college in his junior year, he became a favorite on the club scene through relentless touring, initially turning heads with his innovative mashups. His 2014 original single “How You Love Me” [feat. Bright Lights] dominated radio and closed out 2014 as SiriusXM BPM’s “Most Played Record of the Year.” More recently, Justin realized that he wanted to do more with music, so he launched Blume—the “first not-for-profit dance music label and philanthropic movement.”
With over 5 original releases through BLUME, 3LAU was able to raise 200,000 for Pencils of Promise in 2016, and in 2017 he continues to give to different charities with each new release. For both 3LAU and BLUME it’s just the beginning.

Country singer and songwriter Randy Houser was born and raised in Lake, Mississippi, where his love of music was apparent even as a young child. Houser started fronting bands when he was around 13 years old, and continued playing local gigs all the way through high school. While attending East Central Community College in Decatur, Mississippi, he realized playing music had its financial rewards as well, and he began working on his songwriting. He also formed 10lb. Biscuit, and the band was well received on the local circuit.
Houser relocated to Nashville, Tennessee in 2002, and landed a song publishing deal. One of his songs, “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk,” became a big hit for Trace Adkins in 2005, and he also wrote tunes for Justin Moore, John Michael Montgomery, Jessie James, and many more. Houser began concentrating more on the performing side of things and started playing more local gigs, which eventually led to a record deal with Universal Records South. The label released his debut single, “Anything Goes,” written by Brice Long and John Wayne Wiggins, in May of 2008, followed later in the year by a debut album, named for the first single. Thanks to the Top Ten country single “Boots On,” the album performed well, peaking at 21 on the Billboard Country Albums chart, and Houser returned in 2010 with his second album, They Call Me Cadillac. The album peaked at eight on the Billboard Country Albums chart but none of the record’s singles turned into hits, nor did the non-LP “I’m All About It.”
After They Call Me Cadillac, Houser left Show Dog/Universal and signed with Stoney Creek Records, releasing How Country Feels in January of 2013. The title track became a hit single that topped out at number one on the Country Airplay chart, and How Country Feels produced three more singles, “Runnin’ Outta Moonlight,” “Goodnight Kiss,” and “Like a Cowboy,” the latter peaking at number five on the Country Singles chart. In 2015, Houser toured extensively as Luke Bryan’s opening act and dropped a new single, “We Went,” in anticipation of Fired Up, Houser’s second album for Stoney Creek.
