Just in time for Halloween, here’s a cultishly creative masquerade video for “Need to Breathe,” a fast moving. spot-on single from Curb Records’ platinum-selling duo Love And Theft. This official video artfully shares the sense of urgency offered in this fun, rockin’ banjo-laden, love-soaked anthem.

With “Need To Breathe,” Stephen Barker Liles and Eric Gunderson, the duo behind Love and Theft, mark the next step in this country chart-topping band’s musical journey, leading to an anticipated new album release in January 2019.

It’s Cody Johnson’s time.

After landing two releases in the Top 10 of Billboard’s country albums chart on his own CoJo label and selling 74,000 tickets for a single show, to earn recognition as the only unsigned artist in history to sell out NRG Stadium at RodeoHouston, one of Texas’ most-sought-after talents finally agreed to sign with a major label. Warner Music Nashville won a Music Row sweepstakes and enticed Johnson – who’d turned down several majors before – to join the team and take a shot at turning a concert success story into one with multimedia, national hit-making cred.

Johnson’s passionate, rowdy concerts have already drawn comparisons to Garth Brooks, and the music from his previous albums – inspired by ‘90s country foundations, but built for the 21st century – has made him a familiar presence on Texas and Oklahoma red-dirt radio.

Johnson’s introductory Warner project, Ain’t Nothin’ to It, ups the ante. After writing the bulk of his previous material, he put out word in Nashville that he was open to songs from other sources, and the results were astonishing. A-list writers – including Chris Stapleton, Radney Foster and Brothers Osborne guitarist John Osborne – came to the table with songs that suited Johnson’s life and disposition. Music fans who are just now coming to the table will get a quick understanding of Johnson, from the rowdy troublemaker in the swampy “Doubt Me Now” to the devoted family man in the title track to the self-penned ex-bull rider in “Dear Rodeo” to the devoted Christian in “His Name Is Jesus.”

“We wanted to show a different side and make a record that sounds like us,” Stephen Barker Liles says of Love and Theft’s boundary-pushing new album Whiskey On My Breath. “Country music has always been about honest performances and songs that mean something, and that’s the kind of record that we wanted to make.”

“We’re at a different place, in our music and in our lives, than we were when we made our earlier records, and we wanted this album to reflect that,” agrees his longstanding musical partner Eric Gunderson. “We worked harder and more passionately on this record than anything we’ve ever done. The whole experience was refreshing and inspiring for us.”

Whiskey On My Breath—the duo’s third album—marks a significant creative statement for the two singer-songwriter-guitarists, whose resume already includes a long series of career highlights. Having already established themselves as one of country’s hottest young acts with such memorable hits as the #1 country smash “Angel Eyes” and the Top 10 hit “Runaway,” and their widely acclaimed albums World Wide Open and Love and Theft, the ACM/CMA/CMT-nominated twosome take their music to the next level on Whiskey On My Breath.

Michael Ray is known for his break out single, “Kiss You in the Morning”, but has come a long way since then.  This Florida native is bringing his edgy country sound to Columbus for a night to remember.  This will be Ray’s second headlining tour.   It is named after the first single released from his sophomore album, “Get To You”.  He is using skills learned from time spent opening for big name artists and the experiences from his first headlining tour to create the best show he possibly can for all of his fans.

Michael Ray is bringing an incredible line up with him:

Love and Theft is the duo that brought “Angel Eyes” to country music fans in 2012.  Their most recent album, “Whiskey On My Breath” explores new avenues of style and sound.  But it sticks to the basics Love and Theft is known for–high energy and songwriting fueled with emotion.

Devin Dawson is currently breaking into the country music scene.  His hit single “All On Me” is featured on Spotify’s New Boots playlist.  He is getting ready to release his album, “Dark Horse” early next year–come get a sneak peak of some of the material at the show!

Aaron Lewis at The Bluestone

2nd show added

Country Music artist, Aaron Lewis sells out The Bluestone July 28th and adds another show, July 27th 2017. Aaron Lewis has been playing the Bluestone located at 583 East Broad Street Columbus, Ohio for many years but has never sold it out in 12 hours. The second show was added very quickly after tickets sold in less than 24 hours. The second show for Aaron Lewis will be July 27th 2017 and tickets will go on sale Friday April 14th at 10 AM www.liveatthebluestone.com or on Eventbrite. (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/wclt-presents-aaron-lewis-at-the-bluestone-tickets-32442930679)

The country singer announced last year that he would be embarking on a huge tour to promote his first album with Dot Records, Sinner, and set out a massive number of dates for fans to come check out the new music. But rather than quit right at the peak of winter, he decided to roll off of the spirit of his previous sold-out shows through the end of April.

His latest project, Sinner, released back in September, and Lewis contributed to nine of the 11 tracks on the album. Going for a more old-fashioned, rebellious vibe, he felt the need to channel his musical heroes to find the right influence throughout the record.

“I’d like to think that ‘Sinner’ is a newer take on classic, traditional Outlaw Country, Waylon and Merle and Willie, and Hank Jr. and Johnny Cash and all that stuff,” he said. “That was the music I heard a kid, and that’s the Country music that permeated my soul and stuck with me my whole life.” -http://www.soundslikenashville.com/news/aaron-lewis-extends-sinner-tour/

About ACM Lifting Lives®

ACM Lifting Lives® is the philanthropic arm of the Academy of Country Music dedicated to improving lives through the power of music. Through partnerships with artists and strong ties in the music industry, ACM Lifting Lives develops and funds music-related therapy and education programs, and serves members of the community who face unexpected hardships through its Diane Holcomb Emergency Relief Fund. Through generous donations and the support of artists and fans, ACM Lifting Lives is able to fund everything from disaster relief and helping communities in need, to music education in schools and music camps for those with disabilities, to supporting programs that use music therapy as a means to help our veterans and wounded warriors, while providing grants to help them ease back into life. For more information, please visit www.ACMLiftingLives.org.

Music defines Chase Bryant. At every level and in often unexpected ways, his truths are expressed in melody, lyrics, hooks and sounds … but his reality goes even deeper than that. Bryant’s heritage is defined by music. His upbringing, his craft, his inspiration and his obsessions are all centered in the same – which is good – because there’s no other way to explain how a 23-year-old Texan could already be a top-flight guitar player, head-turning songwriter, RED BOW recording artist and co-producer of his debut album.

Tyler Farr and Raelynn will play The Bluestone January 20th for Columbus Cares A Night of Music to benefit St Judes. Tickets are on sale now at www.liveathebluestone.com

Artists at The Bluestone - Columbus Ohio

Tyler Farr at The Bluestone January 20th 2017

“Maybe I’m addicted to pain…What used to be, what’s gone.

There’s definitely some darkness,
but it’s hard to explain, though everybody knows it.
“Probably I’m a hopeless romantic,
but sex can make that complicated, too.
“You know you want to be in love, but that’s a tricky thing to find.”

Tyler Farr’s a thinker, an observer of the human condition, a man in the middle of a surging testosterone country movement in today’s Nashville who insists on digging a little deeper, getting a little realer and owning how hard it can be. On Suffer In Peace, the son of a Garden City, Missouri farmer opens his veins and examines the pain that comes from being truly engaged with living.

From the wracked hangover of what you don’t see coming in love “Withdrawals,” the smoky acoustic “I Don’t Even Want This Beer” or the spare run-from-the-memories title track, the classically-trained vocalist knows that love isn’t just hard, it’s risky. With a resonant tenor that has a powdery bottom and a warm center, Farr heats up difficult emotions and peels back what most men barricade behind bravado.

Raelynn

Raelynn to play The Bluestone January 20th 2017

Biography
Singer/songwriter RaeLynn released her Warner Bros. Records/Warner Music Nashville debut single “Love Triangle” to radio on August 1 to rave reviews. The heartbreaking and emotionally raw video was released exclusively to PEOPLE.com and CMT and is striking a visceral reaction at radio and with fans across the country.“There’s a lyric about having a little white suitcase,” says RaeLynn.
“I remember waiting on the front step for my dad, with a little white suitcase that had Minnie Mouse on it. Every part of that song is me. So many of us have lived this life. I loved writing the song with Nicolle Galyon and Jimmy Robbins and having their perspectives, too. We all come from our own love triangles, I guess you could say. I’m so proud of this song; it’s my favorite song I’ve ever written.”She will be joining labelmate Blake Shelton for his 2016 Tour Presented by Gildan® kicking off in his home state with a two-night stand in Oklahoma City, OK on Sept. 9-10.

Her gold-certified hit single, “God Made Girls” was nominated for a 2016 Radio Disney Music Award for Favorite Country Song and she also received her first ever Academy of Country Music Award nomination for New Female Vocalist of the Year in 2016.

“God Made Girls” was the highest charting debut single by a solo female that year upon its release (Billboard & Country Aircheck) and reached #7 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. The music video has accumulated over 22 million views and earned her a pair of CMT Music Award nominations for Female Video of the Year and Breakthrough Video of the Year.

Love and Theft

NYE 2017 Love and Theft

Love and TheftOriginally a trio that also included fellow singer-songwriter Brian Bandas, Love and Theft first galvanized fans in 2009 with the Top 10 hit “Runaway.” That breakthrough success set the stage for their debut album World Wide Open, which also produced the hit single “Dancing In Circles.” After a move from the Disney-affiliated Carolwood label to RCA, Stephen and Eric scored their first #1 single with “Angel Eyes,” which was featured on Love and Theft’s self-titled second album, along with the hits “Runnin’ Out of Air” and “If You Ever Get Lonely.”

The longtime partners agree that their potent musical chemistry is a reflection of their personal rapport. “The thing about us,” Eric asserts,” is that we really are best friends, and that’s helped to get us through the tougher times. At the same time, though, we’re different enough personality-wise that the combination works. Stephen’s naturally a more social person than I am, and I’m a little more introverted. He tends to see the best in every person and every situation, and I’m kind of the opposite. My songwriting’s different from his, and when we’re in the studio, his approach is different from mine. The way we play guitar is different. The way we arrange songs is different. But our differences come together to make something that each of us couldn’t do on his own.”

The pair’s second-nature chemistry led them both to agree that the occasion of their third album called for the bold musical statement that Whiskey On My Breath would ultimately become.

“In some ways, we’ve played it safe in the past, and I think we’re over that now,” Stephen observes. “It’s easy to fall into that when you’re working in the Nashville system and trying to please everybody. But eventually you come around and realize that you need to be true to yourself. I don’t mind that songs like ‘Whiskey On My Breath’ and ‘Everybody Drives Drunk’ may be a little controversial, because they’re honest, and I think that they’ll make people think about how they feel about life.”

“Those songs are both really personal for us,” Eric notes. “They show a side of us that’s legitimately us, and how we’ve grown up and matured in the time that we’ve been in this business. But there are plenty of songs on this album that are just good, fun songs, and that’s still a side of us too.”

Indeed, Whiskey On My Breath makes it apparent how far the duo—who’ve both become husbands and fathers in the six years since they began their recording career—have traveled, and demonstrates that they’re in for the long haul.

“We feel more strongly about this record than anything we’ve ever done,” Eric concludes. “Whatever happens, we’ve made a record that we both love and that we can both stand behind, and that’s a great feeling.”

Its going to be a GREAT New Years Eve 2017!
