Clayton Anderson will perform live at The Bluestone Friday, February 20th 2015!
Supporting Artist: Chris Cavanaugh and Carter Winter
Doors OPEN at 7PM ( All Ages Event )
( $5 Tickets Available At The Door )
Clayton Anderson
It all started with fun-fetti cake and karaoke birthday parties. Every year, Clayton Anderson wanted the same thing and insisted that his little sister do it also.
In college, Clayton decided to learn guitar because he thought it’d impress the ladies. Next thing he knew, he and his friends were playing local parties and bars. After he graduated, he won Kenny Chesney’s Next Big Star Competition. It was the boost of confidence he needed to leave his job at a mortgage company and move to Nashville.
Clayton’s first record in 2011, Torn Jeans & Tailgates climbed to #12 on the iTunes Country Chart, situating itself next to household names like Zac Brown, Brad Paisley, and Blake Shelton.
Clayton has been traveling across the country playing backrooms, side stages, and honky tonks from Michigan to Florida, each time gaining a few more fans and a better foothold on areas that aren’t traditional country strongholds. He’s opened for some of country’s biggest stars, the likes of Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, Eric Church, Darius Rucker and even Mr. Party himself, Jimmy Buffett.
Even though he now spends most of his time on the road, Clayton makes a point to stay tied to home. He still keeps an Indiana phone number so his grandmother can call him, and he made sure he was home for the birth of his first niece.
Clayton writes and sings what he knows. He grew up in Bedford, a small town in southern Indiana. Clayton spent his summer days on Lake Monroe. He loved the Colts before they were good. Clayton pulls a lot of his musical inspiration from his home state’s pool of legends: John Mellencamp, Michael Jackson, John Hiatt, David Lee Roth, and Axl Rose.
Clayton knows he’s been very blessed. He says his success has been thanks to his supportive family, friends and incredible fans. His journey, like most, has been full of ups and downs, but he plans to always remember those who helped him along the way.
This new album is very personal for Clayton. He wrote or co-wrote almost all the songs on this project. Each track marks a different moment in his journey to “Right Where I Belong.”
Chris Cavanaugh
Chris Cavanaugh picked up the guitar when he was 12 years old and hasn’t set it down since. Not long after he started playing, with just a few chords and a song, Chris performed in the talent show at his middle school. When the song was over, everybody rose to their feet, and from that point on Chris knew what he wanted to do for the rest of his life…
Cavanaugh grew up listening to Garth Brooks, George Strait, and Brooks & Dunn. This influence and his love for music had Cavanaugh making the trip from his hometown of Springfield, Missouri to Tennessee just a few months after graduating high school. After spending a few years hanging out with writers and publishers he had no doubt that he wanted to make Tennessee his home. Shortly after graduating from Middle Tennessee State University Chris signed his first songwriting deal. Over the next few years Chris spent his time on music row honing his craft as a writer. During this time however, he says, “I always knew that deep down my ultimate passion was playing and performing, so I eventually had to get out and do something about it…I had to get on the road.” And so he did…
As of recently you can find Chris playing with his band throughout Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio. When asked about his career so far, and the path he has taken to get to where he is, Chris says, “I think everything happens for a reason and I believe the time I spent in Nashville digging in and learning how to write songs has built a platform for me and a body of work that I’ve been able to draw from when I go out on the road to play. I think if it’d happened any other way I wouldn’t have these songs…”
Chris Cavanaugh is making music about the land he’s from, writing about the people he knew, and playing for the people he knows. Chris did not wait for a record label to tell him what they think of his music. He’s taking that straight to the beer drinkers, farmers, housewives, and college kids and letting THEM decide. In the last year alone Cavanaugh has opened shows for Thompson Square, Lee Brice, Montgomery Gentry, and Eric Church. People are hearing Chris’ music, connecting to it, and believing…
Carter Winter
Ohio’s own Carter Winter is becoming one of the most sought after talents in the Midwest and is gaining national recognition along the way. Known for his true natural country vocal tone, a creative writing style and an incredible work ethic, Carter is definitely an artist to watch. Carter is humbled and appreciative of all of his support as the number of his fans grows after each show. He has played with a number of major label artists, including most recently a sold out Rhett, White, and Blue show with 4,000+ Attendees. When asked, “What do you want out of music, what do you want from a career?” He said, “I want to make people dance, I want to make a difference and most of all I want people to enjoy themselves.” We have no doubt he will do just that! Notable Performances Carter Winter has packed the house of many local bars and venues as well as in many other states. Notably, Carter has played a show at Nashville’s Bluebird Cafe. Carter has been support for a number of major label acts at sold out concert venues including most recently, a show with Thomas Rhett, The Cadillac Three and The Swon Brothers. Other names include – Easton Corbin, Jana Kramer, Frankie Ballard, and Brett Eldredge!

Music defines Chase Bryant. At every level and in often unexpected ways, his truths are expressed in melody, lyrics, hooks and sounds … but his reality goes even deeper than that. Bryant’s heritage is defined by music. His upbringing, his craft, his inspiration and his obsessions are all centered in the same – which is good – because there’s no other way to explain how a 23-year-old Texan could already be a top-flight guitar player, head-turning songwriter, RED BOW recording artist and co-producer of his debut album.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL
Is it premature to see Hall of Fame material in a guy who’s just releasing his first album?
Not if that guy is Tony Jackson. To put it plainly, Jackson is one of the most gifted singers ever to grace country music. His video “The Grand Tour” ignited an unprecedented 10 million Facebook views and 200,000 shares in just over 3 short weeks!
The respect Jackson has already earned within the music community is evident throughout Tony Jackson, as the new album is titled. It features songs and/or performances by Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members John Sebastian, Steve Cropper and Dr. John “Mac” Rebennack, Country Music Hall of Famers Vince Gill, Bill Anderson and Conway Twitty and Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame luminary Norro Wilson.
But it is ease with which Jackson makes every song—even the familiar ones—distinctly his own that sets him apart. Who else would dare to try and then succeed in bringing a fresh layer of emotional urgency to such a classic as George Jones’ “The Grand Tour” or Conway Twitty’s eternal “It’s Only Make Believe”?
On the first-time and lesser known songs, Jackson mints his own classics. With its sweeping steel guitar flourishes and ambient barroom clatter, he transforms John Sebastian and Phil Galdston’s “Last Call” into the sweetest, most affectionate separation ballad imaginable. With reverence and a twinkle in his eye, he enlists Sebastian and Vince Gill in revivifying (after 50 years) the Lovin’ Spoonful’s 1966 romp, “Nashville Cats.” “When asked if we should recut the song,” Sebastian begins, “I said absolutely but we have to get Vince Gill, Paul Franklin and today’s real Nashville Cats in on the session and fortunately it was preserved on video,” he beams.
After capturing perfectly, the excitement of new love in Bill Anderson’s “I Didn’t Wake Up This Morning,” he moves on to a memory-stirring homage to Merle Haggard, Hank Williams Jr. and Willie Nelson in “They Lived It Up,” a lyrical scrapbook from Anderson and Bobby Tomberlin.
Jackson shines as a keen-eyed songwriter in his own right with such memorable excursions as “Drink By Drink,” “Old Porch Swing” and “She’s Taking Me Home.”
From start to finish, Tony Jackson stands out as a “discovery” album, the kind you listen to with such delight that you have to recommend it to friends. And hundreds of thousands have done just that.
Jackson is currently a headliner on the Old Dominion Barn Dance in Richmond, Virginia, and is almost certainly the only major bank executive ever to abandon a prominent IT job in finance at a Fortune 500 company to embark on a career in country music. But he didn’t grow up a country fan.
The son of a Navy man, he led a base-to-base existence, at one point living with his family in Rota, Spain for three years. His early musical background was sketchy at best. “I sang ‘White Christmas’ in the Christmas play in the sixth grade,” he recalls. ‘Everybody seemed to love it, but I was a wreck. My mother forced me to sing in the church choir, but I was kind of buried in the voices along with everybody else.” This was basically his entire musical resume until ten or so years ago when a friend whose band had lost its lead singer asked Jackson to try out for the spot. “I did,” he says, “and I was hooked after that.”
Two weeks after graduating from high school, Jackson joined the Marines. “I told my dad I was joining because I was sick of taking orders,” he says with a wry grin. There was as much getting-ahead as gung-ho in Jackson’s enlistment. “I was a computer and electronics geek as a teenager,” he says. “When I talked to the recruiter, he told me the Marine Corps had just started a computer science school in Quantico, Virginia. Fortunately, I scored high enough on the entrance exam to go to that school.” It was a smart move. When he finished service, a prominent bank in Richmond snapped him up to work in its Information Technology division, initially assigning him the lowly chore of re-setting passwords. “I was way overqualified,” he says, “so I got promoted fast. I was a senior vice president by my early 30s.”
It was while in the Marines that he first started paying serious attention to country music. “My mother listened only to gospel,” he says. “My dad was into jazz, hip hop, R&B, new jack swing—stuff like that. But Armed Forces Radio played everything. When I was living in Spain—when I was 10 to 13—Randy Travis came over there on a USO tour. Some friends and I were out there early when they were setting up the stage, and we actually got to talk to him before we realized he was the guy who’d be performing later. He was really cool to us. In the Marine Corps, when my friends and I played music for each other, we were all homesick. So when you’d listen to these country songs that talked about family and home and heartbreak, it would really grab you.”

Grammy nominated and multi-platinum artist, Aaron Lewis is set to release his sophomore solo album later this year on Big Machine Label Group’s DOT Records.
The former Staind front man first made his country debut in 2011 with certified gold single “Country Boy” followed by the release of his first full length solo album, The Road. “Country Boy” featured Charlie Daniels on fiddle and a booming verse from George Jones as well as Chris Young striking a balance between classic and modern country.
Lewis’ introspective, personal and relatable lyrics are proof that country music is about lifestyle and values, not necessarily where you were raised. And as Country Weekly exclaims “…make no mistake, he is a truck-drivin’, gun-totin’ country boy.” Lewis attributes country as something that has always inspired him. Growing up in rural Vermont the singer/songwriter spent summers with his WWII veteran grandfather hunting and fishing. During that time, he developed a love for the land, the woods, and the simple life, which still permeates everything he does.
And there was one specific soundtrack to those times. “I was raised on Country music,” Lewis says. “My grandfather listened to Merle Haggard, Hank Williams, Hank Jr., and all of the greats.”
And those influences are evident on stage in his new songs and in Staind hits he often performs such as “Outside,” “It’s Been Awhile,” and “So Far Away.”

With two No. 1 singles, multiple awards and nominations, plus performances on some of the biggest stages in the world, Mercury Nashville’s Easton Corbin has made a lasting impression on the country music landscape. He is lauded for his traditional country sound, authentic lyrics and mastery of understatement. American Songwriter says, “Easton Corbin has one of those rare, glorious voices that was made—just made—for singing country music.” His self-titled debut album released in 2010 and spawned back-to-back hits “A Little More Country Than That” and “Roll With It;” making him the first country male artist in 17 years to have his first two consecutive singles reach No. 1. In 2012 the Gilchrist County Florida native released his sophomore album, All Over The Road, which included the Top 5 hits “Lovin’ You Is Fun” and “All Over The Road.” Corbin set a career-best debut on Country Airplay with his top 5 hit single, “Baby Be My Love Song,” from his No. 1 debuting album About To Get Real. His latest single, “Are You With Me,” was most added song at country radio the day it was released. “Are You With Me” first appeared on All Over The Road and was such a special song to Corbin he carried it over to About To Get Real in hopes it would be a radio single. Corbin spent 2016 on one of the biggest tours in country music -Carrie Underwood’s The Storyteller Tour. Corbin is currently in the studio working on new music for his fourth studio album. It would be an understatement to say that a lot has happened since Whiskey Myers was last in the recording studio. Over two whirlwind years, the gritty Texas band hit #1 on the iTunes Country Chart with their breakout third album ‘Early Morning Shakes,’ earned raves everywhere from Rolling Stone to USA Today, and toured the US and UK relentlessly, slaying massive festival crowds and sharing stages with Lynyrd Skynyrd, Hank Williams Jr., Jamey Johnson, and more along the way. You’d be forgiven, then, for expecting things to work a little differently this time around when the band reunited with acclaimed producer Dave Cobb for their stellar new album, ‘Mud.’ But as it turns out, success doesn’t change a Southern gentleman, and they don’t come any more Southern than Whiskey Myers.
Fueled by larger-than-life performances honed tight from countless nights on the road, ‘Mud’ finds the band scaling new heights of songwriting and musicianship, with searing guitars, soulful vocals, and indelible hooks. While their approach to the music and humble, hard-working attitudes may not have altered, there have been developments in the Whiskey Myers world, most notably with the arrival of new faces. For the recording sessions, the band’s five founding members—Cody Cannon on lead vocals and guitar, Cody Tate and John Jeffers on guitars, Gary Brown on bass, and Jeff Hogg on drums—fleshed out their sound with the addition of fiddler/keyboard player Jon Knudson and percussionist Tony Kent, who are both now full-time members. “They bring a great energy, and I think it’s really helped our sound and makes the band more versatile,” explains Cannon. “There’s less room onstage now, but sometimes a family grows.”

Michael Ray Roach (born April 29, 1988), best known as Michael Ray, is an American country music singer and songwriter. He is signed to Warner Music Nashville, for which he has released his debut single, “Kiss You in the Morning“. The song has reached No. 1 on Country Airplay. Before this single’s release, Ray was mentored by John Rich of Big & Rich on the singing competition The Next: Fame Is at Your Doorstep, which he won. He and Rich co-wrote Big & Rich’s 2015 single, “Run Away with You“.[1]
In March 2017, it was reported that Ray would put his acting chops to the test when he revealed that he landed a guest role on CMT’s show, Nashville.[2]
Love and Theft is an American country music group founded by Stephen Barker Liles, Eric Gunderson, and Brian Bandas, all three of whom alternated as lead singers and acoustic guiarists. Signed to Lyric Street Records subsidiary Carolwood Records in 2009, Love and Theft made their chart debut in early 2009 with the single “Runaway,” which reached the Top 10 on Billboard Hot Country Songs. The band’s debut album, World Wide Open, was released on August 25, 2009.
In 2011, following the departure of Bandas, Love and Theft continued as a duo consisting of Gunderson and Liles. The duo moved to RCA Records Nashville that year and released the single “Angel Eyes“, which became their first number 1 single. It and the Top 40 singles “Runnin’ Out of Air” and “If You Ever Get Lonely” all appear on their second, self-titled album.
Devin Dawson is an American country music singer-songwriter.
Devin Dawson first became famous after filming a mashup of Taylor Swift songs, which gained popularity on YouTube.[2][3][4] His debut single “All on Me” is also his first hit song.[2] With the help of producer Jay Joyce, he signed to Warner Bros. Records in 2017.[5] Dawson’s “All on Me” has charted on the Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts.
Dawson has also toured with Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.[6]
